Creative Strategist

• Organic Content Strategy: Lead high-tempo content strategy and direction for full-funnel organic programs, typically Instagram and TikTok. Own content pillars, editorial calendars, creative direction, and the briefing process end-to-end.
• Short Form Video Expert: Deliver expert advice, concepts, directions, and briefs to grow audiences and sell products through native short-form video.
• Community and Brand Voice: Own each brand's social voice and presence. Direct community management, trend response, and the rapid-turnaround content that keeps a brand relevant in the feed.
• Data Analysis: Translate a client's brand strategy and platform data into clear, compelling content concepts. This includes metrics like hook retention, watch time, completion rate, engagement rate, saves, shares, follower growth, and comment sentiment. You're super comfortable adapting content to move these numbers.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Brief Designers and Editors on the creation of assets including short-form video, carousels, Stories, motion, and storyboards. You're capable of jumping into Figma to shape up a layout or whip up an edit in CapCut yourself without concern, if need be. This isn't the role for strategy-only folks.
• Executive Presentation: Present content work and channel strategy to stakeholders and clients with clarity, confidence, and strategic rationale.
• Performance Iteration: Monitor platform data and social listening in collaboration with the team to inform content iterations and improve results over time. Identify organic winners worth promoting into paid.
• Team Building: Establish processes, systems, and content frameworks that raise the floor on quality and speed. Continuously refine our Organic Social service so it scales without losing rigor as volume grows.

Director, Creative Strategy – Organic Social

• Creative Strategy: Lead high-tempo creative strategy and direction for full-funnel ad programs, typically Meta and TikTok, but also YouTube, Amazon, and Display Platforms.
• Short Form Video Expert: Deliver expert advice, concepts, directions, and briefs to sell products and services through short-form video.
• Data Analysis: Translate client’s marketing strategy and performance data into clear, compelling ad concepts (This includes using metrics like thumb-stop rate, hold rate, and clickthrough rate. You’re super comfortable adapting creatives to impact these metrics.)
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Brief Designers and Editors on the creation of assets including static ads, animations, mobile-first videos, and storyboards for short-form content. You’re capable of jumping into shape up a design in Figma or whip up an ad yourself without concern, if need be. This isn’t the role for strategy-only folks.
• Executive Presentation: Present creative work to stakeholders and clients with clarity, confidence, and strategic rationale.
• Performance Iteration: Monitor performance data in collaboration with the marketing team to inform creative iterations and improve results over time.

Director, Creative Strategy

• Data Analysis & Performance Auditing – You’ll spend a significant amount of time inside ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) Identifying what’s working and why.
• Creative Ideation & Scriptwriting - Once the data reveals opportunities, You will design the next creative tests.
• Production Management & Creative Briefing- You will act as the director and translator between strategy and production.
• Testing Strategy & Iteration – You will design and manage the creative testing roadmap for our paid channels.

Creative Strategist – Performance Marketing

• Develop performance-driven creative and messaging strategies and frameworks for clients across digital channels (e.g., FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube, Display, etc.).
• Participate in client meetings as Donut’s in-house creative expert for assigned accounts.
• Advise external client teams on media best practices, strategies, and ideas.
• Manage launch pipeline for assigned clients with your media counterpart, including the completion and transfer of deliverables to clients in a timely manner.
• Apply full-funnel thinking to increase click-through rates and conversion rates on ads and landing pages.
• Synthesize consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors to inform strong creative development.
• Partner with media counterparts to review creative performance and formulate strategies based on KPIs and client feedback.
• Effectively brief and project manage assignments to team members within Asana and Slack.
• Quality control exports to ensure creative standards are up to client expectations, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
• Develop processes to ensure cross-functional collaboration and intra-marketing team success.

• Lead the creative direction across multiple clients, ensuring work is both high-quality and grounded in strategy.
• Turn data and performance insights into clear, actionable creative direction.
• Develop campaigns across channels including paid social, email, web, OOH, and more.
• Set a high bar for creative work while balancing brand storytelling with measurable results.
• Partner with growth and media teams to understand what’s working and where creative can improve performance.
• Help develop and iterate on testing approaches and creative concepts.
• Use insights to refine messaging, visuals, and formats over time.
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of designers, copywriters, and freelancers.
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted creative partner.
• Work closely with growth marketers, strategists, and account leads to align creative with broader goals.
