• Develop and maintain awareness of regulations, standards, and guidance issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
• Assist in interpreting regulatory requirements and communicating them very clearly to relevant units within the Bank.
• Support the delivery of regulatory training and awareness initiatives to promote understanding of applicable requirements.
• Maintain good knowledge of CBUAE regulations, standards, circulars, and relevant federal laws and directives.
• Provide support in offering regulatory guidance and clarifications to business units and support functions.
• Support the preparation and delivery of presentations on newly issued regulations and standards.
• Assist in assessing financial services activities to determine applicability of regulatory requirements.
• Support the execution and tracking of regulatory gap assessments, ensuring updates are maintained accurately.
• Identify and document differences between existing and new or updated regulations.
• Prepare summaries and basic comparative analyses of regulatory requirements for internal use.
• Assist in the dissemination of regulatory notices, circulars, and guidance to stakeholders.
• Support tracking of regulatory obligations to ensure requirements are not missed.
• Monitor progress of assigned regulatory compliance actions and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports (regular and ad hoc).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather inputs required for regulatory submissions.
• Assist in reviewing regulatory correspondence for accuracy and consistency.
• Support the maintenance and update of Regulatory Compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist in delivering regulatory training and awareness sessions.
• Provide day-to-day support to team members on regulatory matters when required.
• Assist in preparing management reports and MIS related to regulatory compliance activities.
• Support documentation of key regulatory developments and themes for internal reporting.
• Prepare summaries of CBUAE outreach sessions and meetings for internal circulation.
• Assist in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.

Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance

• Contribute to development an effective Assurance framework within Compliance.
• Provide assurance to Compliance Senior Management on the effectiveness of the Compliance Program.
• Collaborate with other Compliance verticals to ensure that internal controls are working effectively.
• Oversight on key compliance risk to ensure that the provision of the regulations, standard/procedures are met.
• Pro-actively and promptly escalate any critical issues within Compliance and/or Business to ensure that the Bank is not investigated, charged, fined or publicly castigated by any of the regulatory authorities.
• Track adherence to planned trainings submitted by ECFs. Also, liaise with ECFs to ensure that learnings from periodic assessments / regulatory updates are incorporated in training materials (as necessary).

Manager, Compliance Assurance

• **Key Responsibilities:**
• - Data Input: Accurately enter data of Jeeny’s driver documents into designated databases and systems from various sources, including paper documents, spreadsheets, and digital records.
• - Data Verification: Review and verify data entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• - Data Maintenance: Update and maintain records, correcting any discrepancies and ensuring data quality.
• - Document Management: Organize and manage paper and digital documents, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage.
• - Reporting: Generate basic reports and summaries of data as and when needed by the management.
• - Fraud & Compliance: Ensure all data entry tasks are performed in line with company standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices alongside ensuring data integrity.
• - Collaboration: Work closely with team members to resolve data inconsistencies or issues and support other administrative tasks as needed.

Operations & Compliance Officer

• One stop solution for matters pertaining to the Regulator(s) for Shariah aspects of Islamic Banking including custody, explanation, coordination with CBUAE and others.
• Define and execute the learning strategy for Islamic banking and Shariah knowledge for Mashreq.
• Assess Islamic banking and Shariah knowledge and awareness requirements across the bank to drive training initiatives and develop & conduct suitable trainings in line with stakeholder, ISSC and Regulatory expectations.
• Manage and govern all learning data related to Islamic banking and Shari’ah training.
