• Manage collection requirements for a multi-million dollar portfolio of accounts.
• Effectively communicate with customers (verbal and written) to secure the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Resolve customer discrepancy claims and nonpayment issues by collaborating with Billing and Sales Administration.
• Process credit card transactions, refunds, adjustments, and prepare recommendations for write-offs.
• Provide ongoing customer service, including data submission of invoices, generating statements, and handling special requests.
• Generate status reports detailing portfolio aging and payments.
• Prepare required documentation for placing accounts with third-party collections agents.
• Support the Credit & Collection Management team with special projects and provide coverage for colleagues as needed.

Collections Specialist

• Managing past-due accounts, including customers with balances aged 1–30 days as well as accounts exceeding 31 days delinquency
• Providing customer service regarding collection issues
• Process customer refunds, review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies
• Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts
• Building and maintaining working relationships with customers, dealers, and associates
• Follow through on all issues timely and accurately to resolution
• Resolve customer delinquency to ensure resolution prior to 90 days
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
• Resolving disputes such as insurance, asset usage, sales tax, etc. in a timely fashion
• Update core systems with case management

Collections Representative

• Analyzing policy premium balances and the timely collection of outstanding premiums
• Communicating outstanding premium balances to brokers
• Issuing cancellation notices for non-payment of premium
• Reconciliation of outstanding balances
• Troubleshoot discrepancies involving premium, commission and payment differences
• Requesting disbursements for return premium balances
• Unapplied cash resolution
• Direct Collection of outstanding final audit balances to insureds
• Maintain proper account of collection efforts
• Provide Collection Agency Support preparing and submitting account documentation necessary for direct collection
• Provide Legal Support by compiling account documentation necessary for litigation
• Special projects and system user acceptance testing as needed

Senior Collections Analyst

• Follow-up work on Self Pay account balances
• Handle inbound calls generated by auto-dialer to secure payment
• Establish payment arrangements and obtain updated patient information
• Collect full payment from patient or guarantor
• Apply payments collected over the phone to each date of service
• Handle customer inquiries, disputes and complaints
• Document terms in billing system
• Evaluate the patients ability to pay for services
• Utilize Epic estimator tool to provide estimates and collect upfront payments
• Determine coverage for planned clinical services and calculate patient expected out of pocket expenses
• Answer and return phone calls and other general office tasks
• Perform other job duties as required.
