Business Intelligence Developer

• Dive deep into Zillow's internal and third party data to model data that accurately reflect our customer journey and business processes.
• Design a reusable, modular semantic layer that makes metrics and dimensions consumable across BI tools, data science workflows, and AI systems, while promoting consistency across those surfaces.
• Lead cross-organizational data initiatives that align with company strategy and roadmap planning
• Drive alignment on metric definitions and data governance standards across business lines
• Influence build-versus-buy decisions for analytics tooling, semantic layer platforms, and data governance systems
• Mentor senior analytics engineers as well as shape strategic direction and technical standards for analytics engineering across the organization

Principal Business Intelligence Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise reporting dashboards supporting project performance, financial management, and business development initiatives
• Create standardized reporting packages and deliver ongoing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
• Design and maintain semantic models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns using DAX
• Optimize Power BI models for performance, scalability, and reusability
• Collaborate with technical staff on deployment pipelines, data refresh strategies, and lifecycle management

• Lead Technical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for individually contributing to and leading teams in the provision of technical expertise in one or more analytics toolsets
• Work with customers from clinical, administrative and/or operational areas across the System
• Provide analytical tools that drive insights, complex data extracts and integration, reports and advanced dashboard visualizations
• Develop and enhance existing metrics to analyze ongoing performance metrics

• Develop and operationalize a standardized executive reporting suite (KPIs, KRIs, root-cause/theme views, regulatory complaint lenses, and escalation summaries) with clear metric definitions.
• Deliver automated, refreshable dashboards and scorecards that reduce manual effort, improve data consistency, and enable near-real-time monitoring for spikes, clusters, and anomalies.
• Translate oversight and business questions into measurable metrics, dashboards, and recurring insights (e.g., emerging harm, remediation effectiveness, repeat issues, and business line comparisons).
• Design and maintain data models and reporting logic that are documented, testable, and reusable across audiences (2LOD, senior leadership, Board).
