• Identify and qualify potential prospects by understanding their business needs, challenges, and suitability for the agency's services.
• Engage prospects professionally over the phone using strong conversational and consultative selling skills to build rapport and generate interest.
• Schedule qualified sales appointments and accurately update prospect information, call outcomes, and follow-up activities in the CRM or sales system.

Business Development Associate – Outbound B2B Telesales

• Identify, engage, and onboard new education agents, corporate organizations, and referral partners across East Africa.
• Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements to promote Study Now’s services.
• Manage ongoing relationships with agents and corporate partners, ensuring consistent communication and performance tracking.
• Provide training, resources, and updates to agents to enhance their ability to market Study Now programs effectively.
• Conduct detailed market analysis to identify potential countries, cities, and institutions for partnership within East Africa.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging opportunities for student recruitment and corporate engagement.
• Generate qualified student leads through corporate partnerships, referrals, events, and digital channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to achieve student enrolment targets.
• Support agents and partners in converting inquiries into successful admissions.
• Provide personalized counselling to students and parents on international education options, application processes, and visa requirements.
• Guide students through the entire journey—from initial inquiry to university application, visa documentation, and pre-departure briefings.
• Work with the marketing department to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events targeting students, companies, and agents.
• Represent Study Now at education fairs, exhibitions, and networking conferences across East Africa.
• Track performance metrics such as agent productivity, partnership growth, and student conversions.

Business Development Manager – East Africa

• support the Foundation’s Agriculture Development Program Strategy goals to execute strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities that advance agricultural productivity, sustainability, farmer livelihoods, and food and nutrition sovereignty for smallholder farmers in LMICs.
• leading complex partnerships with private-sector actors to enable access to and adoption of priority technologies;
• shaping market systems by aligning incentives across value chain actors to support scalable solutions;
• building a pipeline of externally developed innovations with strong potential for adaptation and scale.
• balacing strong partnership execution with strategic ecosystem engagement to translate innovation into sustained impact for smallholder farmers.
• work closely with Program Strategy Teams, the Strategic Investment Fund (SIF focused on equity investments), regional offices, and external partners, requiring effective coordination across many diverse stakeholders.
