Application Engineer

• Primary responsibility includes but not limited to,
• User Management: Provide technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional and Retail customer base with focus on application support, API support and network connectivity.
• Incident Management: Identification and resolution of production incidents. The roles requires end-to-end ownership of Production issues, collaborating with various technical and business support teams, escalation and resolution of incident in timely manner.
• Process Management: Take ownership of all release activities, participate in audit reviews and execute BCP exercise. Ensure Process Management continue to meet ITIL best practice standards, SLA and Client expectations.
• Operations Management: Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts to ensure timely actions are taken to maintain system stability and uptime for all the applications. Maintain knowledge repository and standard operating procedure documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify area of improvements, implement process optimization, automation of manual task and improve the service level the team provides to the end users.

Application Support Engineer

• Senior FAE/Systems Optimization Engineer is responsible for technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities.
• Individual contributor will work closely with Sales and Extended Teams to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements.
• Sr. FAE will have in-depth, hands-on experience with Supermicro Server/Storage/Embedded and Switching Products and Solutions, Competitors Products and Services, with the ability to present and demonstrate those solutions to Customers and Partners.
• FAEs are critical part of Pre and Post Sales cycle and must be capable of displaying in-depth technical knowledge of Supermicro and competitive products and solutions as well as technologies and market drivers.

Senior Field Application Engineer

• To develop test programs on IC test platforms.
• Provides technical expertise and value to customers.
• Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations.
• Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.
• Provides software/hardware development and consultation.
• May build application solutions based on customer requirements enhancing the product performance allowing it to become the platform of choice (design-ins).

Field Application Engineer

• Deliver technical presentation and perform system demonstration/sample inspection/measurement for customers.
• Provide both on-site and remote applications support to customers.
• Assist customers in solving problems related to the application of inspection tools to their manufacturing processes.
• Supports the Applications Lab with input to customer Test Plans and provides execution support when required.
• Interface with external customers and internal departments to best determine equipment specifications.
• Work together with FSE to carry out the final acceptance for new tool installation as well as customer training
• Report on results of experiments, tests and studies, provide preliminary interpretation.
• Aid in design and development of new equipment or redesign of existing systems to meet customer requirements.
• Apply good problem-solving skills to solve customer issues and applications.
• Establish good relationship with customer and develop commercial awareness in order to feedback the business opportunity to Rudolph salesman.
• Collect & feedback marketing information to reinforce Rudolph’s competitive position.
• Overseas travel for cross regions support will be required.

Applications Engineer 2

• Utilizes advanced knowledge of engineering principles & practices in the design, development, analysis and release of products throughout the product life cycle
• Present in regular meetings with customers to provide an emphasis on technical problem solving. Supports existing customers on new product development projects under development
• Communicate business and technical information between the customer and Sensata
• Develop and maintain an in-depth technical understanding of Sensata’s products and competitor product offerings
• Leads design review sessions, both customer and internal, as required; this includes conducting drawing and specification reviews with customers
• Leads failure analysis examinations and prepare failure analysis reports of findings
• Ensure projects meet customer requirements and quality standards
• Perform engineering analyses. Review product specifications and utilize computer aided engineering applications to apply conditions, replicate performance, and evaluate the manufacturability of products
• Help develop and refine 'standard' product configurations that capitalize on the company's strengths and products. Provide onsite technical assistance to the sales team at industry trade shows and customer demonstrations
• Negotiate technical specifications
• Respond to requests for proposals and assist in the preparation of quotations for standard and custom products
• Establish and maintain customer engineering relations

Field Application Engineer – Power Systems

• Providing application support to key customers, including recipe setup, recipe optimization, tool troubleshooting, BKM sharing, and presentations.
• Escalate and follow up field issues to division to ensure customer's satification with solved issues.
• Be able to work independently on sophisticated problems with analysis of situations, and in depth evaluation of various factors.
• Good problem-solving skills to solve critical and diverse issues and deliver solutions customer.
• Excellent communications with different teams including product division, product manager, sales, management, and customers to ensure high quality of projects and field support.
• Generate BKMs and share with teams and customers.
• Perform cross-site onsite customer support with quality and efficiency.
