Accounting Manager

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations
• Supporting financial reporting, close, compliance, and internal control activities

• Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
• Prepare and present regular account performance reports and financial updates to senior management.

Accounting Specialist

• Manage the day-to-day operations for general ledger accounting areas.
• Liase and assist AR, Billing, AP and Finance with various inquiries.
• Review monthly close entries prepared by staff (Prepaid, Fixed Assets, accruals, deferred rent, AMEX entries, etc.)
• Oversee accounting staff to ensure a timely close and reporting deadlines.
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations as well as prepare general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accuracy within the GL account.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Prepare/review Audit schedules as assigned and conduct audit research and answer questions.
• Assist with preparing year-end tax schedules.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation process.
• Support month-end ancillary package and hyperion trial balance uploads.
• Serves as a back-up for various areas within the Shared Service Department.
• Assist with Ad hoc requests as assigned.

Accounting Analyst

• Support Mercy For Animals’ accounting and finance operations via general ledger and month-end close accounting support
• Manage and process accounts payable (including working with predominantly english speaking vendors), accounts receivable, and team member expenses using our existing financial platforms
• Support the Finance team with recurring account reconciliations and analyses
• Serve as the first point of contact for Finance-related team member questions and third-party requests including managing internal Finance intranet pages and the Finance inbox
• Record journal entries and complete balance sheet account reconciliations to support month-end close
• Explain fluctuations in account activity
• Support internal controls and process improvement to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with financial policies

Accounting Specialist, Global

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory in warehouses and on the production floor
• Perform monthly closing procedures to establish and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare detailed reports on production and operating costs for managerial decision making
• Manufacturing Variance follow-up with Plant to analyze differences between estimated and actual costs
• Complete and evaluate account reconciliations to identify trends
• Help facilitate and perform re-costing and analyze results
• Assist with preparation of annual manufacturing budgets
• Participate in meetings to support the plant manager and the leadership team
• Oversee inventory accounting and physical inventory count reconciliation
• Help with SOX audit compliance and other issues raised by audits

Senior Cost Accounting Specialist

• Daily interaction with US/Canada teams (Fluent English required)
• Work with financial accountant and other team members to successfully carry out various accounting duties.
• Post client payments to GL.
• Post employees’ expense reimbursements to the GL.
• Analyse prepaid expenses and post general journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Maintain vendor records.
• Weekly collection outreach to past due clients.
• Issue invoices to customers.
• Post vendor payments to GL.
• Creation of fixed assets and fixed asset depreciation.
• Manage accounting process end-to-end for a start-up entity in the Aurora Group.
• Prepare monthly and year end close processes and reporting
• Preparation of prepayments and posting release of prepayments
• Preparation of accruals schedule and posting of accruals, working with the business.
• Apply accounting policies and standards to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial submissions.

Accounting Analyst – Fluent English Required

• Perform general ledger functions; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues.
• Investigate and analyze accounting transactions and contracts.
• Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures.
• Partner with Finance to determine the accounting implications of transactions and conduct analyses to inform all significant business decisions.
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting, including consolidated results analysis, drafting SEC documents, and management review reports, ensuring quality and managing a strict timeline.
• Evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Research and interpret new accounting standards and brainstorm how each applies to GM, in addition to meeting external reporting requirements 10-Q / 10-K.
• Provide guidance to a team of individuals with similar functional responsibilities.
