Accountant

• Assist in the end-to-end preparation, drafting, and filing of periodic SEC reports including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
• Prepare clear, accurate financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures.
• Manage the detailed XBRL tagging and review process for all filed financial statements to ensure compliance with SEC mandates.
• Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards (US GAAP/SEC) on the company’s financial statements and draft technical accounting memoranda.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, managing preparation and timely delivery of PBC schedules and inquiries.
• Maintain and enforce internal controls over financial reporting (SOX 404 compliance) relating to the financial reporting cycle.
• Maintain the reporting tie-out binder and supporting documentation to ensure 100% accuracy of all financial metrics and disclosures.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline the financial reporting process and optimize reporting software/tools.

Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments with complete supporting documentation.
• Own assigned areas of the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review general ledger activity and identify discrepancies, unusual activity, and inconsistencies.
• Support preparation and validation of monthly and annual financial reporting packages.
• Support year-end close activities, including incorporation of audit adjustments and finalization of balances.
• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations that fully tie to supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, aged items, and reconciling differences.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and schedules.
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers throughout the year.
• Prepare schedules and provide supporting documentation for annual audits and Form 990 preparation.
• Respond to auditor requests for assigned areas in a timely and organized manner.

• Apply GAAP with working knowledge of nonprofit accounting concepts.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource to the accounting team and provide guidance on GAAP-related questions when needed.

Senior Accountant – General Ledger

• Responsible for capturing, analyzing, forecasting, revenues, costs, assets and liabilities associated with specific projects.
• Prepare projects in a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual manner.
• Review with project teams the monthly project statements to ensure costs and results are properly reflected, noting substantial variances from budget.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for project revenues, expenses, accruals, and related account analyses to complete the monthly close on a timely basis.
• Assist with the completion of monthly management reports, including Flash reporting and business monthly reviews by providing timely, accurate detailed accounting records as it relates to projects and at the consolidated level.
• Provides assistance and a resource for accounts payable to ensure costs are properly classified by project.
• Fully support the annual audit with project data reports.

Senior Project Accountant

• Own and support key aspects of the retail order-to-cash cycle, including order management, billing, payment application, receivables support, reconciliations, reporting, and revenue recognition.
• Record and analyze accruals, reserves, deferred revenue, AR-related entries, and other retail-related journal entries in accordance with contracts, business activity, and accounting guidance.
• Prepare and own monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, account flux analysis, and resolution of unusual balances or discrepancies.
• Review retail and partnership contracts and assess revenue recognition implications under ASC 606.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, IT/Business Systems, Legal, Sales, Retail Sales, and Logistics to support business processes and resolve operational accounting issues.
• Support onboarding of new retail and distribution partners by helping establish scalable accounting processes, reviewing transaction flows, and validating ERP setup.
• Maintain and improve process documentation, including documentation that supports internal controls, audit readiness, and scalable execution.
• Identify process gaps, investigate root causes, and drive improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scale.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs related to retail accounting and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Serve as a thoughtful, hands-on problem solver who can balance operational support with sound accounting judgment in a fast-moving environment.

Senior Revenue Accountant

• Support and progressively own components of the monthly close process (target: 5–7 business days)
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications
• Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in the appropriate accounting period
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• Perform and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Review payables for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and documentation
• Identify and record necessary accruals and estimates
• Collaborate with Accounting and Operations teams to ensure alignment of financial data
• Support audit and lender requests by providing accurate documentation and analysis

Senior Accountant

• Own and lead special projects across finance and accounting in collaboration with the Controller
• Act as project manager for accounting-led initiatives with guidance from the Controller
• Serve as primary owner of technical accounting matters with Controller oversight
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all entities aligned with Controller guidance
• Act as primary reviewer and trainer for staff accountants across functional areas working closely with the Controller
