Accountant

• Preparation of work papers and support for tax advisors in preparation of monthly and annual tax returns for different countries
• Act as a dedicated liaison for improvement initiatives and monitoring progress for ERP optimization projects
• Supporting the implementation of internal controls in our platform and narratives updates for SOX Compliance
• Reconciliation of complex items for complex operations analysis
• Execution of administrative treasury processes, including the setup of new bank accounts, management of legal representatives/power of attorney, and other configurations that may be required
• Identify and communicate related process improvement opportunities

Senior Accountant – Special Projects

• Own day-to-day accounting support across a multinational biotech structure (Canada with US and UK entities), ensuring accuracy across all books
• Build and maintain reliable intercompany transaction tracking (billing, recharges, loans, eliminations) so balances tie out cleanly each period
• Support consolidation-ready accounting and coordination across entities, helping create a clear path to consolidated reporting
• Partner closely with CFO-level stakeholders to deliver clean financial insights, explanations, and progress updates (not just spreadsheets)
• Ensure accounting practices align across differing regulatory and reporting environments, flagging risks early and proposing practical fixes
• Improve or establish core close processes (checklists, timelines, reconciliations) in an environment with evolving systems and structure
• Coordinate effectively with distributed teams across regions, communicating status, blockers, and next steps with consistency
• Maintain high-quality documentation of entity structures, intercompany assumptions, and accounting decisions to reduce future ambiguity

Accountant – Multinational, Multi-Entity

• Provide invoice coding support for any assigned property as needed to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Monitor your personal inbox, promptly responding to vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling vendor account statements
• Support weekly payment operations by keying wires for designated properties
• Download and process new invoices for assigned vendors from online vendor portals and submit online payments as directed by the AP supervisor
• Assist with annual 1099 preparation by verifying vendor tax information and payment data
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned
