About the role
- Development and further development of complex web applications using Symfony and Python
- Design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data pipelines
- Creation and integration of plugins (e.g., for Shopware 6)
- Development and customization of themes for e‑commerce platforms
- Integration and connection of external systems such as inventory management, ERP, and more
- Design and evolution of distributed microservice architectures
- Implementation of modern system architectures to optimize processes
- Working with various interface formats (REST, GraphQL, XML-RPC)
- Preparation of technical documentation to support product development and maintenance
- Participation in automated software tests and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer, or a degree plus comparable practical experience
- Solid knowledge of PHP, Symfony, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Shopware or similar e‑commerce systems
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems
- Confident handling of Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, and databases
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration and deployment processes
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm for technological advancement
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
