About the role
- Define and evolve the backend architecture in AWS environments, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Serve as the team's technical reference, supporting strategic decisions and guiding development standards
- Solve high-complexity challenges related to performance, scalability and security
- Ensure solution quality through good coding practices, automated testing and code reviews
- Support the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and integrations in a microservices architecture
- Monitor, optimize and ensure observability of services in production
- Lead initiatives related to messaging and distributed architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support critical environments and inform technical decision-making
Requirements
- Advanced programming in Java 17+ and solid experience with Spring Boot
- Development, consumption and documentation of RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with AWS services used in backend (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Knowledge of microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Experience with messaging and system integrations
- Security best practices applied to backend development
- Techniques for monitoring, performance and observability in production
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control in collaborative teams
