About the role
- Develop and enhance back-end solutions in Java and Spring Boot within Azure-based environments;
- Define, discuss and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs;
- Support architecture decisions, promoting best practices for microservices, performance and security;
- Maintain and evolve critical systems, ensuring availability and reliability;
- Integrate RESTful APIs with various systems, ensuring scalability and quality;
- Collaborate with Product, SRE and other teams to enable efficient deliveries;
- Monitor, investigate and resolve incidents related to performance, availability and security;
- Ensure service observability, driving continuous improvements based on metrics and logs.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java 17+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem
- Design, implementation and consumption of RESTful APIs
- Experience with Azure (App Services, AKS, Storage) in cloud-native applications
- Modeling, querying and optimization of relational databases (SQL/Oracle)
- Messaging and integration practices in distributed systems
- Microservices architecture, application security and authentication/authorization
- Observability tools and practices (logs, metrics and tracing) in production environments
