About the role

  • Define the initial backend architecture in Java, ensuring technical alignment with the project’s needs;
  • Validate technical decisions related to the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring security, scalability, and performance;
  • Guide the development team, promoting best practices and ensuring the POC is representative, secure, and sustainable;
  • Consolidate technical standards during the MVP phase, strengthening observability, security, and automation to prepare the product for real-world use;
  • Evolve the architecture to support multiple partners during the expansion phase, ensuring technical governance and ease of evolution;
  • Collaborate closely with business, product, and cloud teams, translating requirements into clear and effective technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience in backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot;
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture, especially cloud-native and distributed systems;
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, and monitoring);
  • Experience defining technical standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality;
  • Experience integrating with legacy systems and performing reverse engineering;
  • Experience with CI/CD practices, preferably using Azure DevOps or similar tools;
  • Ability to lead development teams technically, serving as a reference and facilitator.
