About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the testing environment for system and subsystem improves in uptime, reliability, and feature set
Collaborate in test development and maintain key tests exercising testing framework functionality
Ensure the upkeep, design, and maintenance of various engineering services
Oversee and collaborate with other teams to maintain high uptime of robot testing platforms
Measure and improve platform stability, accuracy, and usability
Measure and maintain uptime of services critical to autonomous vehicle development, including testing and validation of on-vehicle software for hardware platforms
Support all phases of service rollout, including design, deployment, operations, support, automation, and continuous improvement
Work with large-volume data systems and data processing pipelines while performing compute-intensive CPU and GPU tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field
5+ years supporting in-production services, on-call rotations, and SRE responsibilities
Proficient in Python or Golang
Experience building and managing infrastructure services
Experience writing code for system-level automation and building resilient infrastructure
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience building observability stacks, instrumentation, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana dashboards
Experience building software services and writing APIs for backend services
Experience owning and managing full-stack applications
Bonus: Linux system administration, kernel troubleshooting, and device driver development
Bonus: continuous deployment and release management
