Machine Learning Engineer

• Develop new deep learning models using imitation learning and reinforcement learning to generate driving plans for autonomous vehicles
• Work on techniques to estimate the quality of driving plans across safety, progress, comfort, and other dimensions
• Leverage large-scale machine learning infrastructure to discover new solutions and push boundaries
• Develop metrics and tools to analyze errors and measure system improvements
• Collaborate closely with Planner, Perception, Simulation, and Systems Engineering teams to advance vehicle behavior and validation
• Apply ML algorithms both on-vehicle to influence driving behavior and off-vehicle for simulation and validation
