About the role
- Own and evolve the HRIS strategy, ensuring alignment with Zoox’s business goals and long-term vision.
- Be the owner of our HR technology roadmap, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated to support rapid growth.
- Lead the Workday HCM platform and related systems, including configuration, maintenance, integrations, and data integrity.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing HRIS team, fostering collaboration, development, and operational excellence.
- Optimize HR processes through automation, governance, and change management to drive efficiency and adoption.
- Partner across HR and analytics teams, IT, Finance, and business leaders to deliver accurate reporting, actionable insights, and effective vendor management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including deep expertise in Workday HCM (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll).
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing HRIS teams in fast-paced environments.
- Successfully led large-scale Workday implementations and organizational change initiatives.
- Understanding of HR business processes, data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and can turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in a high-growth, technology, or autonomous vehicle company (Bonus Qualification).
- Workday certification(s) (Bonus Qualification).
- Experience with other HR technologies (Bonus Qualification).
- A passion for technology and its application to solve complex business problems (Bonus Qualification).
