About the role
- Collaborate with a team of world-class engineers in AI, robotics, mechatronics, planning, control, localization, computer vision, rendering, simulation, distributed computing, design, and automated testing
- Work on code, algorithms, and research to impact key systems
- Master new technologies while contributing to perception and sensing systems
- Contribute to development of Zoox’s autonomous vehicle fleet and supporting ecosystem
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science or related field
- Fluency in C/C++
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with 3D data and representations (pointclouds, meshes, etc.)
- Strong background in Neural Network Learning, Computer Vision and Machine Learning
- Extensive experience with programming and algorithm design.
- 5-7 years of experience in a related field
- (Bonus) Experience with sensing hardware
- (Bonus) Experience with autonomous robots
- (Bonus) Experience with realtime sensor fusion (e.g. LiDAR, camera, radar)
- (Bonus) Experience with novel pipelines and architectures for convolutional neural nets
