About the role

  • Technical leadership of a small development team
  • Further development of the backend architecture using Kotlin and PostgreSQL
  • Maintenance and enhancement of complex modules
  • Support for design concepts, code reviews and development questions
  • Implementation of containerization solutions with Docker
  • Introduction and optimization of automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Building and operating modern monitoring with the Grafana stack (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope)

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific discipline (PhD welcome)
  • Several years of experience in backend development, ideally with Kotlin (or Java) and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of containerized environments with Docker
  • Deep knowledge of containerization and CI/CD processes
  • Experience providing technical guidance to a small team
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills
