About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the product measurement strategy for Zillow Pro Platform and other ASA products
Establish measurement frameworks for feature adoption and customer activation
Determine key indicators of product health, feature success, and user engagement
Lead the design and development of business intelligence dashboards and reports
Translate stakeholder questions into analytical requirements, data definitions, and reporting specifications
Build, optimize, and document semantic layers, data models, and queries
Monitor data quality and integrity across BI assets
Investigate anomalies, resolve issues, and partner with data engineering or source system owners on sustainable fixes
Analyze complex data sets with product, operations, finance, and other stakeholders
Identify performance drivers and recommend data-informed actions
Standardize BI best practices and reusable reporting components
Provide guidance and training on dashboards, self-service BI tools, and applying insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a closely related field
Experience with modern BI and data visualization tools
Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models
Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders in technology, product, or operations-focused environments
Experience querying and transforming data using SQL or comparable query languages
Experience working with structured data from multiple sources
Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to define metrics, requirements, and success measures
Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
