Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and build reusable Android components, patterns, and infrastructure using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks
Evolve the Android design system to help developers build faster and more effectively
Build and maintain tooling that helps teams generate design-system-compliant Android code
Uphold a high bar for code quality through technical design, code reviews, testing, and maintainable implementation practices
Manage the component library release lifecycle
Partner with engineers, designers, and product teams to resolve integration challenges
Create clear documentation and guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Android engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android architecture patterns, and modern development tooling
Experience building libraries, frameworks, or reusable component systems
Strong understanding of accessibility, performance, animation, and Android UI best practices
Demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, test, and deliver complex technical solutions
Experience collaborating closely with designers and cross-functional partners
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
