About the role
- Take full ownership of sales quotas and proactively work towards meeting and exceeding targets within a defined Zendesk territory.
- Collaborate closely with the core sales team to develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth from both existing Zendesk accounts and new business pursuits.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, understanding their business challenges and leveraging a value-based selling methodology to align the Zendesk AI portfolio to their goals.
- Lead and support on all approved AI POC’s.
- Close collaboration with the AI Success team to proactively identify expansion/cross-sell opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for AI solutions, empowering the sales team to excel in AI-related engagements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role
- A focus on Conversational AI solutions or the CX space is preferable
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Experience in an overlay AE/co-sell role is preferable
