About the role

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of software projects from a user experience perspective, including user interface design
  • Lead projects across all design phases
  • Support and mentor other designers and provide guidance
  • Run workshops with clients and present outcomes
  • Engage in the internal Design Community of Practice and support the Business Development team on pitches and tenders

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a design lead on web or software projects (preferably in agile environments)
  • Solid understanding of Human-Centered and User-Centered Design and the corresponding methods
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design for software and web applications
  • Experience creating, managing and adapting design systems for software and web applications, based on common libraries
  • Expertise with design and collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of accessibility
  • Experience in mentoring and leading design team members
  • Experience collaborating with developers, product owners and Scrum Masters
  • Good communication skills and a strong sense for interpersonal dynamics
  • Highly reflective and quick to learn
  • Experience with self-organized organizations
  • Strong German and English skills (business fluent in written and spoken, C1 or higher)
