About the role

  • Own the overall testing and automation strategy, aligning it with business value and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the lead quality reference for stakeholders, engineering teams, and client leadership.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices.
  • Define and execute a robust compatibility testing strategy.
  • Drive "Shift-Left" practices to ensure quality is integrated early in the delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers while balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Analyze complex technical risks and proactively communicate issues to ensure resilient financial services.
  • Refine QA processes and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement across teams.
  • Ensure all testing activities meet the rigorous standards of a regulated financial environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years focused on front-end and back-end automation.
  • Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured).
  • Proven experience defining strategies for compatibility testing and complex third-party integrations (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, etc.) and clean code principles.
  • Deep experience in Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence quality at all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and supporting engineering teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset for analyzing complex business domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated sectors.
  • ISTQB or equivalent quality certifications.
