About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As part of our Risk Advisory Group (RAG), you will support client projects in financial risk management, risk data and analytics.
- Under the guidance of senior colleagues, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and validation of risk models and reviewing risk frameworks for financial and/or non-financial risks;
- Supporting quantitative analysis using programming languages, and learning to apply econometric, machine learning and AI techniques;
- Contributing to reviews of how clients use financial technology and helping identify best practice improvements;
- Completing assigned project tasks in a timely manner, supporting client deliverables, and contributing to analytical reports under senior supervision.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0–2 years of experience or relevant internship/academic exposure in risk, finance, or a related quantitative field;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, financial mathematics, actuarial sciences, econometrics, computer science or engineering;
- Basic understanding of credit risk concepts; familiarity with IFRS 9 or IRB models is a plus but not required;
- Curiosity about financial regulation (CRD, CRR, EBA Guidelines) and emerging trends in machine learning and AI;
- Strong interest in risk quantification and financial markets;
- Working knowledge of Python, R or SQL — academic or personal projects count;
- Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
