About the role
- Directs the Company's construction activities as the senior on-site Company representative and maintains client and home office relationships
- Responsible for site safety and security programs and site quality control programs
- Implementation and adherence to AWP program and responsible for AWP implementation and measurement during construction
- Interface management, coordination of resources and staffing, construction progress and cost control and maintaining profitability for the project
- Manages field construction, field engineering, safety, quality, and other field project support activities (procurement, project controls, etc.)
- Regularly conducts safety meetings and provides assistance to supervision in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention
- Supervises development of project schedules and monitors production to assure timely project completion
- Reviews cost reports and analyzes to assist in reducing costs and maintaining productivity
- Conducts regular project inspections and advises project supervision of work progress, quality of work and safety conditions
- Coordinates work with subcontractors to ensure work is within project scope, specifications and project policies and procedures
- Coordinates with engineers, inspectors, and client/owner representatives to isolate project problems and assist in developing solutions
- Monitors field purchasing activities to assure quality material and timely delivery at competitive costs
- Conducts regular meetings with project supervision to review project progress, manage interfaces between construction disciplines and plan future construction activity
- Determines necessity of construction equipment and scaffolding and assures assets and resources are properly maintained.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Over 10 years relevant work experience
- Over 5 years of EPC industrial experience
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong Interpersonal communication skills
- Strong Oral and Written communication skill
- Ability to reason & problem solve
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience managing and leading work teams
- Microsoft experience (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Plan and perform complex work where only general policies or procedures are available
- Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site.
- Preferred:
- Current or Former Zachry
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent for a two- or four-year college/technical school.
