About the role
- Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
- Work will be in a general office environment operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment.
- Occasionally required to work in an industrial location where noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking. Noise levels vary and may include bells, whistles, and alarms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college.
- Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering design experience on Power and/or Industrial Projects.
- Professional Engineering License with the ability to obtain licensure in other states within the US.
- Prior Lead Engineer experience with executing projects.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, IEEE/ANSI Standards and NEMA Standards.
- Experience with Medium and Low Voltage Equipment and Cables.
- Must be able to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with Senior Company Leadership.
- Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
- Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments as necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
