About the role

  • Designs and develops technical solutions to complex business problems, which may include enterprise-level projects, data analysis solutions, etc. Responsible for initial design and development of new software or extensive software revisions
  • Defines product requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications. Applies techniques of development, programming and data structuring to specific problems or requests
  • Analyzes existing programs, corrects errors, tests the changes to ensure desired results are produced. Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, annotating the code in the development and systems environments
  • Works closely with the business owners on an Agile team to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed
  • Perform applications support through coordination and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams. Tests applications using automated testing tools

Requirements

  • Over 5yrs experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in .NET Web based development.
  • Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.5 and up
  • Proficient in server-side design and development. (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, OOP, Entity Framework)
  • Proficient in client-side design and development. (Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of relational data models.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps experience (Boards, Sprints, Repos, Branches, Pipelines: Build/Release); Microsoft Azure serverless compute (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Fabric); Microsoft Data Architecture/Data Hub functionality (Data Factory: pipelines, data flows; Data Lake Analytics: USQL; Data Lake Store Azure Storage: blob, files, tables, queues; Azure SQL DB; Databricks) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems with concentration in Software Development preferred
