About the role
- Lead financial operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
- Provide executives with clear financial insights and breakdowns by product, customer, and business unit
- Review and edit customer contracts, advising on acceptable terms from a business perspective
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
- Oversee HR functions including employee onboarding, performance reviews, and recruiting support
- Organize company-wide events, including virtual all-hands meetings
Requirements
- Has a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Brings experience in finance leadership and HR/operations management, ideally in a growing business
- Has strong technical skills in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
- Can balance detail-oriented execution with big-picture business insight
- Is comfortable working closely with executives, while also rolling up their sleeves when needed
