About the role

  • Establish and drive security governance across IT, ensuring consistent application of security principles in projects and operations
  • Act as a trusted advisor and challenger, reviewing architectures and solutions from a security perspective
  • Manage and assess IT security risks, ensuring transparency, proper mitigation, and alignment with organizational standards
  • Provide security approvals and exceptions for non-standard solutions, balancing risk and business needs
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Security Office and IT, translating requirements into actionable measures
  • Take ownership of IT security policies, ensuring they are defined, maintained, and implemented effectively
  • Lead and coordinate IT-related audits (e.g., ISO 27001), including preparation, execution, and follow-up activities
  • Ensure that security-by-design principles are embedded in projects and changes across IT

Requirements

  • Solid experience in IT security, ideally in a role combining architecture, engineering, or governance
  • Broad understanding of IT environments, including IT infrastructure, identity & access management, and applications
  • Familiar with security principles and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, general best practices)
  • Experience with security governance, risk management, and compliance concepts
  • Broad knowledge across infrastructure, networking, IAM, and application environments
  • Ability to review and assess architectures and technical designs from a security perspective
  • Comfort in assessing IT risks and making pragmatic decisions
  • Ability to challenge technical solutions constructively and engage with stakeholders across IT and the Business
  • Ability to translate security requirements into practical, implementable measures
  • Clear and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus but not required
