About the role
- Drive complex, technically challenging digital product development projects from initial concept through certified product launch.
- Serve as the primary link between business objectives, user needs, and technical delivery for connected, software-driven products.
- Elicit, structure, and document requirements to ensure transparency and traceability across the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with experts in software, embedded systems, hardware, UI, and cloud, translating complex technical discussions into clear, actionable insights.
- Support customers in regulated or safety-critical environments (e.g., medical devices, industrial automation).
Requirements
- Degree (FH/University) in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or product ownership, preferably in software or connected-device development.
- Solid knowledge of requirements management and traceability principles.
- Broad understanding of how software, firmware, hardware, and user interfaces interact.
- Experience in regulated industries is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear, well-reasoned perspectives.
- Analytical, structured, and pragmatic mindset; comfortable working in agile, interdisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) and very good command of English.
