About the role
- Manage the execution of complex large-scale projects in road traffic engineering (hardware, software, IoT, connectivity).
- Provide technical leadership to project teams.
- Act as the liaison between sales, installation, engineering, and commercial operations.
- Ensure smooth processes from the tender/quotation phase through project planning to implementation.
- Drive digitalization in the mobility sector and develop innovative solutions for customers.
- Ensure international material flow and proactively manage schedules and costs as part of risk management.
- Contribute technical expertise to special projects, software rollouts, and process improvements.
- Proactively analyze existing and new customer requirements and develop appropriate solution proposals.
Requirements
- Completed degree in engineering (e.g., electrical engineering, traffic/transportation engineering, or industrial engineering) with above-average academic performance.
- Several years of professional experience in project-oriented systems business in road/traffic engineering.
- Project Manager certification; ideally a Senior Project Manager certification.
- Strong experience working with public-sector clients.
- Enthusiasm for digitalizing mobility ecosystems and their intelligent connectivity.
- Confident communication skills in German and English.
