About the role
- You develop traffic engineering and traffic management-related concepts – from individual requirements to complex traffic management use cases
- You support projects end-to-end: from tendering through implementation to commissioning and acceptance
- You advise our clients and internal stakeholders on technical and domain-specific questions and act as a knowledgeable point of contact throughout the project
- You present technical concepts, interface descriptions and solution proposals persuasively – both internally and externally
- You work on the integration of central traffic management systems and support testing, acceptance and commissioning
- You actively shape the interface between traffic management solutions, field components and external systems based on standardized protocols
- You contribute to ensuring stable, documented operational and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- A degree in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
- Experience with standardized interfaces in traffic management, in particular OCIT-C and/or OCIT-O is mandatory
- Experience in traffic planning, traffic management or the operation of traffic control systems
- Knowledge of road traffic engineering and ideally experience with planning tools such as Yutraffic Office, LISA or PTV Vissim
- Basic understanding of IT and network technologies, data formats and interfaces
- A structured, analytical working style and a strong commitment to quality
- Very good German skills and confident English skills for collaboration in international projects
