About the role
- Create visually compelling designs for B2B/B2C web and mobile applications that align with Youtopia’s brand vision and user experience goals.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity, including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines.
- Design high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma and Adobe tools to communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies, providing clear updates and feedback on design tasks and potential challenges.
- Contribute to user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve user experience.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- Design marketing materials, including digital assets, social media graphics, and print collateral, to support brand exposure.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members to deliver polished, user-centric solutions.
- Ensure all designs adhere to web accessibility (WCAG) standards and are optimized for both web and mobile platforms.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing assets and specifications as needed.
- Stay informed about design trends, emerging tools, and best practices, sharing insights with the team to elevate design quality.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet sprint goals and deadlines.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas to enhance the product’s visual and functional appeal.
- Support the team by addressing design-related questions and troubleshooting challenges in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Candidates must reside in the greater Denver Metro area.
- Candidates must be US citizens, no visa sponsorship.
- 6+ years of experience in graphic design, brand development, and UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing impactful work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is required.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity creation, UI/UX design, and graphic design for digital and print media.
- Proficiency in designing responsive and adaptive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Experience creating motion graphics or animations to enhance user engagement (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design for scalability.
- Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to support product development.
- Comfortable managing and delivering design assets in various formats for development and marketing needs.
- Familiarity with hybrid mobile app design considerations for iOS and Android platforms.
