About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute test cases for mobile and web applications
Test APIs using Postman
Develop test strategies to assure comprehensive quality review of development and platform deliverables
Participate in daily standups and sprint planning to facilitate developer priorities and answer questions about defects
Record detailed test scenarios, data, and application context to reproduce errors for engineering diagnosis and resolution
Reproduce customer-initiated issues and facilitate resolution between developers and customers
Participate in UX and product design meetings to understand product expectations and establish testing strategies
Work in an agile development environment, maintaining user story and task status and t-shirt sizing
Focus on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
Document test cases and testing strategies in Azure DevOps and Confluence
Communicate on open projects and provide updates to team members and Technology team staff
Report to the Director of Applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineering role
3 years of experience testing web applications developed with Vue.js or React.js
3 years of experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
Experience developing test plans and test cases
Experience curating test data sets
Experience developing automated test plans
Experience testing web-based APIs
Experience testing i18n localization applications
UX style guide experience for Android and iOS
Extra credit for veterinary practice management software such as Cornerstone, AviMark, or Datapoint
Travel is not required
Learn quickly, be a self-starter, and take direction well
Exceptional troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Must be able to work in front of a computer for long periods
Must be located in and authorized to work in the US

Must be able to work during regular US business hours
Must regularly participate in remote meetings and calls via Teams
