Your Money Line seeks an enthusiastic individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills to join our team as a Financial Guide (FG).
The FG team is crucial in providing participants with clear, personalized financial guidance, catering to diverse backgrounds, and addressing various financial challenges and issues with empathy.
The FG will be the participant’s first line of contact and will be tasked with delivering and maintaining a high level of participant satisfaction.
FGs are also responsible for helping to create financial education content to help participants self-serve on their personal finance journey.
This is a full-time position with shifts from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. There are no weekend requirements.
As a Financial Guide, you will translate each participant’s money story into clear and compassionate guidance that aligns with their values and stage of change.
Offer participant support across channels, including email, phone, chat, and Zoom.
Facilitate recurring one-on-ones with participants to celebrate progress, unpack habit challenges, and help participants build routines rooted in identity and personal wins.
Co-create educational content from webinars and short videos to articles and worksheets.
Escalate questions as necessary to senior members of the financial guide team.
Participate in ongoing learning via peer coaching, real-time feedback, and industry updates, ever-evolving your financial and counseling fluency.
Requirements
AFC® or CFP® certification
At least two (2) years of financial coaching or similar industry experience
Comfortable presenting financial topics in a clear, engaging way, especially in virtual and group settings
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Adept at learning new technology (e.g., Salesforce)
Excellent customer service skills
Bilingual or full professional proficiency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
