About the role
- Analyse requirements and create clear test cases and scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate UI behaviour, usability, and browser compatibility.
- Test APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger.
- Build and maintain structured API test suites with workflows and chained requests.
- Investigate issues using logs, network traffic, and API responses.
- Report bugs with clear steps, expected vs. actual results, and severity.
- Participate in grooming, sprint planning, and release activities.
Requirements
- 4+ years in manual and technical QA
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and client-server communication
- Advanced experience with Postman/Insomnia (variables, scripts, workflows)
- Ability to automate API test suites using Newman or similar
- Strong UI testing skills and proficiency with browser dev tools
- Ability to run SQL queries for backend validation
- Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
