About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Turn client requirements into transaction rules, event-driven workflows, and configuration on the client's platform
Capture before/after evidence of your work so it can be reviewed and replayed by teammates or the client
Work closely with client teams in collaborative working sessions, explaining technical decisions and translating complex engineering concepts clearly
Investigate unfamiliar API contracts and client tooling independently to get integrations working
Debug issues that live in the client's platform rather than your own code, and file clean reproductions back to core engineering
Actively leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and drive engineering best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on Python at minimum
Go is a nice-to-have
Experience with rules engines, workflow orchestration, or event-driven systems (CEL, Temporal, or similar)
Familiarity with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
Experience in fintech, core banking, or regulated financial services environments
Prior core-banking or ledger experience
Comfort working in an AI-assisted or agentic development workflow.
