About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for sales development with existing and new accounts via telephone or other non-direct solicitation methods
- Provides sales support to existing customers primarily with intent to expand sales
- Must maintain information in company database to support efforts and contribution
- Supports Customer Service, Sales and Marketing staff
- Provides in-house sales support to major existing accounts, prospective customers and customers requiring global support
- Increase sales with existing and prospect customers primarily through telephone contact
- Promote existing and new products to selected markets determined by Sales Manager and Marketing staff
- Manages all new customer inquiries; investigation, account set-up, sampling and follow-up
- Assists in developing product promotion strategies to obtain business in existing or new markets
- Attend Trade Shows and other marketing events
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in Customer Service and/or training
- Must be proficient with Microsoft operations
- Minimal travel requirements (less than 5%)
