About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze business requirements and translate them into EDI/JDE integration solutions
Design, develop, test, and support EDI interfaces between JD Edwards and external trading partners
Develop and maintain JDE EDI outbound and inbound processes
Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures and resolve production issues
Coordinate onboarding of new trading partners and validate mapping specifications
Monitor daily EDI processing and ensure SLA compliance
Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and external partners
Support system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements related to EDI and JDE
Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and support procedures
Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Consultant with 5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in EDI implementation and support
3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards
Experience with JDE EDI modules and integration architecture
Knowledge of JDE tables, UBE processing, and interface development
Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with SQL and data analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN, and web service integrations
Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, and API integrations
Familiarity with JDE Orchestrator and Business Services (BSSV)
Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, or MuleSoft
Experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or supply chain environments
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Strong ownership and accountability mindset
