About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide proficient product and embedded cybersecurity expertise across automotive and IoT embedded systems
Work with embedded systems and software engineering SDLC in C/C++
Address embedded software, network architecture, and communications including CAN, Ethernet, and OTA communication
Apply cryptographic concepts in embedded environments, including HSM, Secure Boot, secure programming, and secure communication applications
Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for automotive and embedded systems
Understand systems and perform system decomposition
Lead and create or work on a vision for a team
Provide technical leadership and communicate with leadership
Interpret and apply standards and specifications in embedded software, including ISO 21434
Work within agile software development practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient product or embedded cybersecurity experience
Automotive embedded or IoT experience
Embedded systems and software engineering SDLC experience in C/C++
Knowledge of embedded software, network architecture, and CAN, Ethernet, and OTA communications
Knowledge of cryptographic concepts in embedded environments
Experience with HSM, Secure Boot, secure programming, and secure communication applications
Ability to conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
Ability to understand systems and perform system decomposition
Team vision creation or execution experience
Technical leadership and communication with leadership
Awareness of interpreting and applying standards such as ISO 21434
