About the role
- Act as primary contact point for end users via phone, chat, and self-service tickets
- Qualify and open tickets for remediation of events
- Triage tickets to respective teams and follow up until closure
- Regularly update and follow up on tickets in the queue
- Provide remote support and troubleshooting for hardware, OS, and software issues
- Troubleshoot email flow and Outlook client issues and basic O365 administration
- Manage a variety of technically complicated tasks effectively and document resolutions
- Train other engineers as required and maintain high level of customer relationship skills
- Work rotational shifts and adhere to ITIL standards for infrastructure management
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 Years (job header)
- Mandarin + English speaking candidate needed (fluent in oral and written Mandarin and English)
- 2-4 years call taking profile with core Help Desk skills
- 3+ years experience supporting multiple OS versions
- Remote support and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of basic hardware accessories/devices and peripherals
- Basic understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory
- Basic O365 Administration using Office365 Admin Console
- End-user support, OS troubleshooting and support (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Basic software troubleshooting and support (MS Office, messengers, Outlook)
- Good knowledge in utility software such as Antivirus
- Exposure/practice of ITIL standards for Infrastructure management; ITIL V4 Foundation training or certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong writing and documentation skills and ability to train other engineers
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology (preferred)
- Certifications: ITIL V4, Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-103) recommended
