About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct requirements gathering and scoping sessions with SMEs, business users, and executive stakeholders to define reporting needs
Translate business requirements into actionable BI solutions
Independently develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools
Ensure data accuracy, usability, and visualization best practices
Assist and train users from departments like Sales, Production, and Supply Chain to leverage Power BI effectively
Promote a data-driven culture through workshops, meetings, and internal initiatives
Manage admin-level access control for data and reports across the organization
Maintain compliance with security and governance standards
Identify opportunities for applying advanced analytics, including machine learning and IoT
Collaborate with data engineering teams for ETL and data warehouse integration
Support field activities as needed, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of BI solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 - 7 Years of experience as Power BI Professional
Expertise in Power BI; Microsoft Data Analyst Certification is a strong plus
Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
Experience with BI suites (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, QlikView) and data storytelling
Experience with SQL BI development (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, T-SQL)
Familiarity with DW technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure DevOps
Experience of ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to share knowledge
Exposure to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering industries
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
