About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a functional consultant for Oracle EBS Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM.
Lead and support Oracle EBS rollout & support projects, including global or multi-entity rollouts.
Engage with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Convert business requirements into functional design and configuration of Oracle EBS Financial modules.
Perform application setup and configuration, including setups for ledgers, accounting setups, taxation, and reporting structures.
Work closely with technical and integration teams to design, develop, and test customizations, extensions, reports, and interfaces.
Support data migration, financial reconciliation, and validation activities during implementation and upgrades.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including: Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Configuration Documents (CV), Test scripts and UAT support documentation, Training materials and user manuals.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Provide end-user training, system walkthroughs, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and support resolution in a timely manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant
Strong functional knowledge of: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and rollouts
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes
Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
Experience working with technical components such as interfaces, reports (XML Publisher), and extensions
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience in testing, support, and post-go-live stabilization.
Oracle EBS R12 experience (mandatory)
Knowledge of taxation, localization, and compliance requirements.
