About the role

  • Manage gathering requirements and providing technical solution design.
  • Develop using SAP BODS, focusing on design and advanced functionalities.
  • Handle data migration using hands-on SAP BODS experience.
  • Create BODS queries and jobs based on existing functionality and rules.
  • Work with databases and SQL to build technical BODS jobs.
  • Understand SAP Master Data and transactional data including relevant tables and joins.
  • Carry out data profiling, cleansing and reporting activities.
  • Configure SLT with ETL transformation services.

Requirements

  • Experience in gathering requirements and providing technical solution design.
  • Strong experience in SAP BODS design and development.
  • Development experience with advanced BODS functionalities.
  • Strong background in data migration with hands-on experience using SAP BODS.
  • Ability to quickly understand existing functionality and rules, and to build BODS queries and jobs.
  • Strong experience with databases and SQL.
  • Ability to build highly technical BODS jobs using multiple data sources and complex business rules.
  • High-level understanding of SAP modules.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP Master Data relevant tables and joins.
  • High-level understanding of SAP transactional data and underlying tables and joins.
  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, and summary reports.
  • Strong experience in configuring SLT.
  • Strong experience with ETL transformation services, via the SAP Landscape Transformation server (SLT) or SAP Data Services.
  • Excellent analytical, logical problem-solving, and technological skills.
  • Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
