About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as lead members of the direct care team
Provide similar day-to-day functions as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) but with administrative responsibilities
Training, scheduling, systems management, and in some cases, directly supervising other DSPs
Work in a person’s home, in their family’s home, in a YAI residence, at a day habilitation center, or out in the community

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Some college preferred
Prior DSP experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory
Ability to lead by example and act as a role model within teams
Interpersonal problem-solving skills
Ability to accept and apply feedback
Flexibility in availability
