Senior Regional Supervisor
YAIAssistant Regional Senior Supervisor providing mental health services at YAI organization for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include psychotherapy, evaluations, and clinician oversight for quality care.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides individual, family, collateral or group psychotherapy to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Conducts intakes and evaluations prior to assigning cases to other therapists
- Completes written progress notes and treatment plans contemporaneously using Electronic Health Records
- Participates in scheduled supervision
- Checks emails daily and responds to them in a timely manner
- Completes annual mandated OPWDD trainings as required by the agency
- Actively participates as a member of the Behavioral Health team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Masters level Social Work or Psychology or Counseling program
- Holds a professional license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist)
- Several years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities
- Several years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Proficiency in a second language a plus
- Excellent writing skills
- Exceptional Organization skills
