About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the Low Voltage High Power product portfolio from concept through end of life
- Define product and portfolio vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plans
- Drive roadmap execution against business objectives and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders
- Work with customers and engineering teams to understand requirements and prioritize resources
- Own portfolio and individual product profitability
- Transfer products from Engineering to Manufacturing
- Maintain traceability of stakeholder requirements throughout product development and releases
- Write business cases, investment justifications, product requirements, and market requirements documents
- Research market opportunities, technology, competition, and customer requirements
- Act as the market voice and recognized expert for the Low Voltage High Power portfolio
- Drive adoption of new and current products, including customer trials and testing programs
- Develop positioning, messaging, value propositions, and marketing strategies
- Deliver internal and external product training, demos, and roadmap presentations
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Conduct win/loss analysis and manage in-life product performance using lifecycle and CRM tools
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Strategy, Implementation, Product Marketing, and Commercial Enablement teams
- Maintain and communicate the Now, Next, Future product roadmap
- Lead decisions on new product developments, variants, and product obsolescence
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety and quality requirements, and proper use of IT systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Appropriate degree or equivalent
- Product management experience with hardware and/or firmware-based products
- Technical power supply background highly valued
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in an international environment
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 25% when needed
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of product strategy, roadmapping, pricing, profitability, market research, and competitive analysis
