About the role

  • Take responsibility for configuring and maintaining payroll schemas, rules, wage types and tables to ensure legally compliant payroll processing
  • Perform customizing activities for payroll-relevant processes, including posting settings and communication with authorities (tax & social security)
  • Handle the request and implementation of tax and social security certificates
  • Analyze and implement collective bargaining, legal and company-specific requirements
  • Produce technical documentation within the HR IT environment
  • Collaborate with developers and the Product Owner using agile methods to ensure continuous product development

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Human Resources Management or Business Administration — alternatively vocational training as an Application Developer (Fachinformatiker:in für Anwendungsentwicklung)
  • Initial experience in the SAP HCM area, particularly payroll, or the motivation to develop deep expertise in this field
  • Ideally have worked on agile projects and be familiar with agile methods and ceremonies
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
  • Team player with initiative and a proactive work style
  • German language skills at least at C1 level and English language skills at least at B2 level are mandatory
