About the role

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of BizTalk Server solutions for enterprise-scale integration projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performing BizTalk-based integration solutions.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot BizTalk environments including orchestrations, pipelines, schemas, maps, adapters, and BAM.
  • Integrate BizTalk with ERP, CRM, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), APIs, and legacy systems.
  • Define and implement best practices for performance tuning, error handling, security, and monitoring.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and review code/design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor and guide junior BizTalk developers/consultants.
  • Stay updated with latest integration technologies and contribute to modernization initiatives (e.g., migration to Azure Integration Services/Logic Apps).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server (2006 R2 and later versions).
  • Strong expertise in BizTalk artifacts (orchestrations, pipelines, schemas, maps, BRE, BAM, adapters).
  • Proven experience in enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and middleware best practices.
  • Solid understanding of SOA, XML, XSLT, WCF, REST/SOAP web services, and messaging protocols.
  • Experience integrating with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
