About the role

  • Act as the central coordination point for the backend team
  • Define and break down tasks into actionable items
  • Plan workloads based on realistic capacity and priorities
  • Coordinate parallel work streams and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Organize and facilitate meetings (efficiently and purpose-driven)
  • Oversee the preparation and release of new versions
  • Provide quick answers to the team’s operational questions
  • Maintain Jira and documentation in excellent condition
  • Manage shifting priorities without losing control or clarity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a PM / Project Manager / Delivery Manager in complex technical teams
  • Formal education in management or solid theoretical knowledge (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Broad practical exposure: ability to handle non-standard cases and adapt different practices as needed
  • Comfortable working in conditions of uncertainty and constant change
  • Strong communication skills and a leadership mindset
  • Russian - С1/higher, English - B1+
  • Understanding of the backend technical context: microservices, APIs, releases, dependencies, queues, SLAs
